DPO Signs Behind-the-Meter Wind PPA to Directly Power 100MW Green Data Center Project
DPO has signed a binding PPA with a major renewable energy producer to power 100 MW of data center operations in Texas. This is the result of a multi-year relationship that included pilot data center operations on-site, behind the meter at one of the power producer’s wind farms beginning in 2022. DPO views behind-the-meter transactions like this as critical in using green power to meet the unprecedented demand for computing resources.
